The family of Rick Schaeffer and Extrel CMS are proud to announce the formation of The Richard A. Schaeffer Memorial Fund to honor his memory.   Rick Schaeffer was a tireless promoter of  Mass Spectrometry for almost three decades until his death in an automobile accident earlier this year.  Click here for more information on Rick Schaeffer.

   The fund will help qualifying graduate students with the expenses associated with attending scientific conferences such as American Society of Mass Spectrometry annual symposium.   Students will qualify for funding based on several criterion including need and scientific merit.

   Applying for funds:  If you would like an application form to nominate a graduate student to become a canidate to receive support from the fund, please send an e-mail to info@extrel.com with the header, "Richard A. Schaeffer Memorial Fund".  We will need your name, the name of the candidate and your mailing address.
