MAX LT Flange Mounted Mass Spectrometers
The MAX LT Systems are high performance Quadrupole Mass Spectrometers mounted on 62 CF ( 41/2 inch) flanges. They are designed for the researcher who needs a real mass spectrometer but is on a limited budget.
The MAX LT system uses Extrel's high transmission 9.5 mm rod tri-filter quadrupole mass filter and the same powerful, flexible and easy to use Merlin Automation Software that our MAX systems do.
The MAX LT system are complete with EI Ionizer, Mass Filter, Detector, Power Supplies, Controller and Software.
The MAX LT systems are ideal for TPD studies, SIMS, plasma analysis, flow tube detection, catalysis studies and much more. |

MAX Flange Mounted Mass Spectrometers
The MAX systems are complete, ready-to-run flange mounted Quadrupole Mass Spectrometers. Each comes with control electronics and data acquisition and manipulation software, ready to install on a user-supplied Windows 2000 or XP PC.
The base MAX system consists of an axial molecular beam ionizer with flat aperture plate, mesh shield and tungsten filaments, Tri-filter quadrupole mass filter with RF only pre- and post-filters* and entrance and exit lenses, multiplier housing with positive ion only counting multiplier, pulse counting or analog preamplifier, six or eight inch UHV conflat flange, 150-QC RF Power Supply and associated raw supplies, Merlin Automation Data System control electronics, and all suitable cables and vacuum wiring.
MAX systems are designed with the flexibility to meet the requirements of specific applications and to be modified and upgraded to adapt to future requirements. Please contact an Extrel Representative for a complete list of MAX system options.

| QPS Mass Filter and Power Supply System
QMS systems are complete, ready-to-run Quadrupole Mass Filtering System. The base QMS systems include the following: Tri-filter quadrupole mass filter with RF only pre- and post-filters and entrance and exit lenses, 150-QC RF Power Supply and associated raw supplies, and all suitable cables and vacuum wiring.
QMS systems are designed to be used in applications such as, Clusters Deposition, Selected Ion Flow Tubes (SIFT) and multi-technique and multiple quadrupole systems.
