Gas Analysis Systems

Extrel’s Blister Analyzer is a gas analysis system designed to analyze the content of inclusions in glass. Since 1985, Extrel has installed Blister Analyzers throughout the world. Extrel designed this system to meet the analysis and reporting requirements specified by many of the major glass manufacturing companies. At the same time, our instruments retain the flexibility to meet customer-specific needs for individual applications.

Our Blister Analyzer is an automated production instrument. It automatically calibrates and analyzes hundreds of samples per day utilizing a 15 sample cassette system for extracted blister or solid glass samples. While one cassette is loaded in the analyzer chamber, sample cassettes can be loaded on the preconditioning manifold in preparation for analysis. This allows the maximum sample throughput available.
