Combustion
Combustion Analysis requires very fast, stable chemical analysis of the combustion process or exhaust stream. Critical to the process is the use of a gas analysis system with high sensitivity and high resolution, to accurately monitor a wide range of applications.
Extrels instruments include the MAX300-LG Laboratory Gas Analyzer and MAX300-IGIndustrial Gas Analyzer Systems that can sample from multiple points along an atmospheric pressure exhaust stream, to the MAX, MAX-LT, Molecular Beam MS and MS/MS Systems which can look directly at a combustion process.
Extrels Mass Spectrometers and Gas Analysis Systems are used for an array of combustion analysis applications, some of which include:
- Monitoring automobile engine exhaust
- Detecting trace metals or the chemistry of particulates in furnace exhaust
- Analysis of rocket engine combustion products to improve engine efficiency
Extrels Combustion Analysis Product Line includes:
- Cross Beam Deflector Ionizer (GP-111)
- MAX Flange Mounted Mass Spectrometers (GP-110)
